The cheetah is the fastest land animal on Earth. Solitary creatures, males and females come together to mate, then the mamas raise the cubs on their own. Cheetah cubs are entirely reliant on mama, and eventually learn to hunt from her until reaching about 16 to 24 months old, when they are left to fend for themselves. From the cheetah we can learn independence and to believe in our own abilities. Sometimes we may not feel ready to go out on our own, but Cheetah reminds us that nature has given us everything we need to care for ourselves.
